Checking Sequence Versions

In order to see all previous versions of a given file, navigate to the “Library” tab, then select the desired file from the list. Once selected navigate to the top banner and use the “Versions” button to opening the versioning modal box. Alternatively, you can right click on the file and use the dropdown to select “Versions”.

Reverting to Previous Versions

Once you have selected the “Versions” button and entered the modal box, you will have an overview of all of the previous versions. You can see the version date and creator, the file and reagent name, the core info and which changes have taken place. To revert back to a previous version or save a version as a new file start by selecting the desired file by using the circular check box on the left side of the file name. Then select “Revert current file” or “Save as new file” to bring the file back to your inventory. Reverting will overwrite the current file with the previous version and saving as a new file will allow you to create a new file of that version and name it.

Accessing Sequence History

In order to view the previous changes to a file, you can access the sequence history. Navigate to the “History” view in the bottom navigation bar. Here you will see all previous history of the file including deletions, substitution, insertions as well as any processes performed on the file. For cloning procedures, you will see the original vector and insert files as well.
